Residential Flooring & Stair Transformation — Before, During & After

Before the Flooring Installation

The home originally had carpet installed throughout the affected living areas and on the staircase. The project involved removing the existing carpet and preparing the floors and stairs for installation of STAINMASTER waterproof lock-and-key vinyl plank flooring.

During the Flooring Installation

After the carpet was removed, BeGS prepared the exposed floor and stair surfaces for the new STAINMASTER waterproof lock-and-key vinyl plank system. The flooring was then laid out, cut, fitted, and installed throughout the affected areas, with particular attention to stair treads, risers, transitions, and edge details.

The staircase required more detailed fitting than the open floor areas so the plank layout would remain clean and consistent from one level to the next.

Completed Flooring & Stair Installation

The completed installation replaced the original carpet with STAINMASTER waterproof lock-and-key vinyl plank flooring, creating a cleaner and more continuous finish throughout the affected areas.

The staircase became one of the strongest features of the project, with the plank flooring carefully fitted across the treads, risers, edges, and transitions to create a finished appearance that carried the flooring design between levels.
